Halstead Health & Rehabilitation Center offers a wide variety of services designed to assist all of their clients to reach their highest level of functional independence. We offer rehabilitation and restorative services on-site under the direction of your personal physician and our physical occupational and speech therapists, along with our nursing staff.

Whether you are looking for long-term placement, or just a helping hand after a hospitalization to allow you to return home, we have services available to assist you.

Our services include Hospice Care, Podiatry Services, IV Therapy and our excellent rehabilitation services. Halstead Health & Rehabilitation offers complete Rehabilitation services from Physical Therapy to Speech Therapy. Our cheerful therapists can put our residents on the road to recovery within 24 hours of admission. We use the latest state-of-the-art lifts, devices and tools to assure the optimum in rehabilitation therapy.

Personal care is arranged around your schedule, not ours. Like to sleep in? Stay up late? Bathe in the evening? All of our clients answer questions upon admission about the usual daily and nightly habits so we can provide individualized care based on their daily routines prior to coming to our home.

Our 24-hour Staff are highly motivated and dedicated to provide friendly care in the areas of their expertise, and all our staff have been carefully screened and interviewed to allow you and your families and friends peace of mind when considering Halstead Health & Rehabilitation as a place to call home.

Our state-of-the-art nurse call system helps us to maintain a quiet, hotel-like atmosphere and respond promptly to your needs. Each nursing staff member has a portable phone that is connected to the main computer which routes the call to the appropriate staff member and alerts them to where help is needed. There are no loud, annoying sounds ringing in the halls to disturb you.

Halstead Health & Rehabilitation is a certified Medicare and Medicaid provider. All rooms have been certified and provide whatever skill level may be necessary for each resident either short term or long term.

The certification allows short term rehabilitation for a person to have physical occupational and speech therapies to aid in optimum health. It also provides long term residents the security of a continuum of care. Each of the 54 private rooms are certified so no matter the resources of payment or care level the resident does not have to move. This allows peace of mind for the family as well as the resident.

The dining room is decorated to create the feeling of dining in a fine restaurant. We offer daily nutritious meals served on a flexible dining schedule to meet the needs and lifestyles of our residents.

The living room hosts a very comfortable atmosphere in front of the fireplace and makes for a great area to visit with family and friends. You can watch your favorite programs on satellite TV or play one of your favorite movies. We also have a wonderful sun room for playing cards and family get-togethers.

We pride ourselves on the quiet, hotel-like atmosphere of our facility. We offer 56 private rooms and 2 semiprivate room for couples, all with private bathrooms. There are also private phone lines available in every room, and satellite TV hookups for a modest monthly charge. There are 3 community showers and 1 whirlpool bath available. Like many hotels, our bathing rooms are equipped with in-room heaters for comfort.

Our passenger van is equipped with a wheelchair lift and is capable of carrying many passengers at one time, allowing us to go on outings at Christmas and on summer picnics.Transportation is also provided for families who cannot take residents to appointments.
